Mehendi Parlour

I am very against tattoos in their permanent form, as is my religion, so iinstead I chose to do a Mehendi Parlour. Mehendi is a natural, painless, temporary tattoo like art form used to decorate the skin for special occasions.

This is to represtent each element. Void, Water, Earth, Fire, and Wind. I changed it around from my original idea somewhat. It used to have fire in the sky but I think it took away from the main elements.

Dreamscape

Fantasy Dreamscape - Ali Singh

This is my dreamscape. It's supposed to be a love scene in ethereal paradise. The huge woman is myself a solitary body, as is the smaller woman behind the two lovers in green. My jaanu's face is hidden behind a cat mask, and a butterfly sits on mine. Various statues from Classic art have been edited with our faces, and the one has the same cat and butterfly treatment. Cats, butterflies, ferns, pussy willows, an cotton have personal meaning for us. This is dediated to mere bilungra mukhra, mere gherwala. Love u cat face!

Homepage Design for Tattoo Website

Homepage Design for Tattoo Website

The final Photoshop project is to design the homepage interface for a fictional tattoo shop.

• The document should be in RBG color (because it is for the web.)
• The size is 800 pixels by 600 pixels with a resolution of 72 ppi.

The only requirement is that there are six buttons in the navigation bar:

• Home
• Bio
• Pictures
• Location
• Directions
• Message Board

You decide what the name of the shop will be, where it will be, how the navigation will be etc…

Grading:
• 10 points Concept
• 10 points Technical
